AdU Lady Falcons improved their standings to 6-3 putting them on the third rank now after beating UE Lady Warriors in three sets with 25-16, 25-14, 25-17 scores in the UAAP '75 at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan last Sunday.

For coach Dalistan of UE, an impressive win is no longer important, but the hard work and perseverance to play good volleyball is already tantamount to winning.

FIRST SET
Lady Falcons first to serve, quickly attacked by Soriano. Zapanta attempted several attacks, but UE denied it. Masangkay to serve for UE earned easy points by 2 service aces. Soriano continued to give strong attacks, no chance for UE to catch up.
Coach Meneses reminded the girls not to be complaisant and the goal is always to win.
Bulan found a way to nail the ball, but Pineda quickly return the favor. The game was becoming on and off for both teams as they both commit several errors in the first set.
Bulan attempted to throw a quick attack, but Guevara stopped it with a solid block. Soriano finished it on the 21st minute dominantly with 25-16 scores in the first set.

SECOND SET
Coach Meneses wanted a more aggressive players and reduced errors of the team.
Dawis of UE found an open area at the back row and quickly sealed a point. Soriano recovered by a fast attack. Soriano always throws her attacks on the side of the blocker making a larger percentage to score. Pineda tried to give solid attack, but denied by UE giving Bulan a chance to serve for the team. Surprisingly, Bulan throws 3 good serves, scoring easily via service aces. Coach Meneses was apparently disappointed by the misjudgment of the players.
Soriano paid off the errors by solid attack and Zapanta with running attack. The set was sealed by the Lady Falcons to 25-14.

THIRD SET
UE continued to pour down errors in the 3rd set. Soriano kept on soaring high and gave impressive attacks, too strong and quick for the Lady Warriors to save.
Coach Dalsitan wanted to see the girls executing the plan and be more confident in receiving the ball.
Good defense and offense by both teams, long rally was ended with 2 attempts of attacks by Soriano. The set ended in 25-17.
Ma. Pauline Soriano of AdU, dominated this match with 19 points, with 17 attacks and 2 blocks.
