Azkals take over Myanmar with a 2-0 FT

Philippine Azkals stunned Myanmar with a 2-0 FT last Friday night in the AFF Suzuki Cup held at Supachalasal Stadium in Bangkok.

Phil Younghusband netted a left-footed kick on the 46th minute. Myanmar looking pressured continue to attack, but was not a able to pass the quick Tats Mercado.

On the last few minutes, Angel Guirado was able to push a goal from the near range sealing a guaranteed passage for the team on the semi-finals.


A November well ended for the team Azkals as they will advanced to the semis against a strong contender, bringing the competition for the first time in the Philippines.

Singaporean Investors of the Alleged Rasuman Scam Show-up at NBI

Upon hearing the news of Coco Rasuman being arrested, Singaporean victims went immediately to National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to ask for help.

The victims refused to give their names but one of them said that he has invested P10 million and that he is already afraid of his future for his family.

They were shocked to find out that Coco Rasuman was arrested. "It is a huge amount of money that everyone will attempt to have. We don't know that it will be happening like this," the victim said.

It was reported earlier that the alleged pyramid scam leader, Coco Rasuman has invested to Aman Future Group Philippines Inc. to pay his investors.

Aman Future Group, is now facing 3 more complaints of syndicated estafa.

Philippine Azkals Ready for Tomorrow's Clash Against Myanmar

After the dramatic 1-0 win over Vietnam, Philippine Azkals are preparing for their match tomorrow against Myanmar at the Supachalasal Stadium in Bangkok.

Although the team is more confident after the win, they still believed that it will not be an easy game. It can be recalled that the two teams battled to a draw match last year and Myanmar won a whopping 5-1 final score in their last SEA game match.

A win over Myanmar will ensure the team a spot in the semi-finals.

It will be a challenge to the Philippine team since their 2 key players will be out tomorrow.

Ray Johnson will need to rest for a nagging thigh injury, while Jerry Lucena has been recalled by his professional team in Denmark.

Coach Michael Weiss said "We are back in the race and playing against the strong Myanmar side and hopefully will progress to the semifinals".

Malaysia Beats Laos with a 4-1 Score - Suzuki Cup

Malaysia sweeps off Laos with a 4-1 final score in the Suzuki Cup held at Bukit Jalil Bational Stadium, Malaysia. 

They took the lead on the 15th minute after Safiq Rahim scored with a trademark freekick. Laos ended the momentum after netting a goal on the next 9th minute by Khonesavanh Sihavong. First half ended in a 1-1 score.

Malaysia reclaimed the lead when Safee Sali kick for a goal in the near range on the second half. Loas was not able to recover as Malaysia continue to dominate. Kunalan deliver a nodded home from the left on the 76th minute. Completely deflated, Laos was left by a final 4-1 score when Khyril Muhaimin kicks a home from a close range.

The victory leads the team into their final group face off against Indonesia. A win would guarantee them a place in the semi-finals.

Pacquiao Takes 4 Sparring Partners Down

Pacquiao had another torrid training at the Wild Card gym in Los Angeles. During the session, he took his second sparring partner down on the first round. It was Pacquiao's powerful left hook that caught Jessie Roman off guard. This is the fourth time that he knocks his sparring partners down.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum was more impressed with the improvements and said "Pacquiao was aggressive and quick and look tremendous".

Pacquiao's strategy was reportedly focused on strength and speed. Critics believed that Pacquiao's left hook will end the epic battle between him and Marquez.

Trainer Freddie Roach admitted that it is going to be a tough fight because Marquez is a great counter puncher, but assured that they are doing everything to beat the counter-punch style of Marquez.

Meanwhile, Marquez is having an intense training under the strength and conditioning coach Angel Heredia. There have been reports that his coach has introduced new things in the training including swimming, working on the track, and polymetrics.

The best of the two legendary fighters is yet to be unveiled at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada on December 8, 2012.

Azkals bag 1-0 win over Vietnam in Suzuki Cup

Chiffiey Caligdong stunned opponent in his goal in the 85th  minute bagging Philippines Azkals their first win over Vietnam Red Warriors in the Suzuki Cup held at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on Tuesday night.

Caligdong was able to get the goal after a long pass from Angel Guirado, surpassing two defenders who were about to block his 10-meter right kick on the left corner.  Azkals now have their first win from two games after their 0-2 set back against Thailand.

Vietnam Red Warrior's team leader, Ngo Le Bang, has earlier said that their game against Azkals won't be easy as the Philippines has tall and active players. 

It can be recalled that the Philippines had their stunning moment against Vietnam in 2010, when they won a 2-0 game against the same team.

Zoren and Carmina Always and Forever

It was a wedding much beautiful than a woman can ever imagine. After watching the much awaited wedding coverage of Zoren and Carmina, everyone was dazzled. It was so amazing that Zoren was able to pull off a wedding without Carmina knowing a single detail. The production was very huge that left Carmina speechless and float in cloud nine. 

Zoren was supposed to propose under a cherry blossom tree during their vacation in Japan.  The plan was put on hold for a while because his credit card was not activated during time he was about to buy a ring. Nevertheless, Zoren was still thankful and believed that everything has a perfect timing. "Nag papasalamat pa rin ako dahil kung nangyari yun, hindi ko maibibigay 'tong mas malaking surpresa ko kay Carmina." He said. To turn back time and do what has supposed to be done, Zoren put a man-made cherry blossom.

When he had the chance, he made sure everything will be grand and work as planned. Zoren has to personally do the usual responsibilities of the bride, from the theme to the cake down to the very little details of the wedding. He coordinated with their closest relatives, friends and ABS CBN management to put everything into reality. Their twins too, have to keep this secret for months.
