PH Azkals training hard for Singapore

PH Azkals went home with pride after winning against Vietnam and Myanmar in the Aff Suzuki cup held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Azkals went immediately to an intense training as their preparation for the next match against Singapore on December 8 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Although the players are now on their training, the Azkals' management is still negotiating with the clubs to obtain a clearance for their overseas-based players to play this Saturday. It is known that the team is composed with members who plays with the European and Asian clubs. Among of these are full-back Dennis Cagara, striker Angel Guirado, holding midfielder Jerry Lucena, midfielder Paul Mulders, defender Ray Jonsson and goalkeeper Roland Muller.

First choice goal-keeper Neil Ethridge has already left before their match against Vietnam, while Lucena has been recalled by his team in Denmark after winning against Vietnam.

Singapore secured a slot and a match against Azkals, after dominating against Laos with a 4-3 FT at the Sham Alam stadium in Malaysia. Both teams are ready in the first Aff Suzuki cup here in the Philippines.
