Azkals bag 1-0 win over Vietnam in Suzuki Cup

Chiffiey Caligdong stunned opponent in his goal in the 85th  minute bagging Philippines Azkals their first win over Vietnam Red Warriors in the Suzuki Cup held at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on Tuesday night.

Caligdong was able to get the goal after a long pass from Angel Guirado, surpassing two defenders who were about to block his 10-meter right kick on the left corner.  Azkals now have their first win from two games after their 0-2 set back against Thailand.

Vietnam Red Warrior's team leader, Ngo Le Bang, has earlier said that their game against Azkals won't be easy as the Philippines has tall and active players. 

It can be recalled that the Philippines had their stunning moment against Vietnam in 2010, when they won a 2-0 game against the same team.
