Pacquiao had another torrid training at the Wild Card gym in Los Angeles. During the session, he took his second sparring partner down on the first round. It was Pacquiao's powerful left hook that caught Jessie Roman off guard. This is the fourth time that he knocks his sparring partners down.
Top Rank promoter Bob Arum was more impressed with the improvements and said "Pacquiao was aggressive and quick and look tremendous".
Pacquiao's strategy was reportedly focused on strength and speed. Critics believed that Pacquiao's left hook will end the epic battle between him and Marquez.
Trainer Freddie Roach admitted that it is going to be a tough fight because Marquez is a great counter puncher, but assured that they are doing everything to beat the counter-punch style of Marquez.
Meanwhile, Marquez is having an intense training under the strength and conditioning coach Angel Heredia. There have been reports that his coach has introduced new things in the training including swimming, working on the track, and polymetrics.
The best of the two legendary fighters is yet to be unveiled at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada on December 8, 2012.
