Philippine Azkals stunned Myanmar with a 2-0 FT last Friday night in the AFF Suzuki Cup held at Supachalasal Stadium in Bangkok.
Phil Younghusband netted a left-footed kick on the 46th minute. Myanmar looking pressured continue to attack, but was not a able to pass the quick Tats Mercado.
On the last few minutes, Angel Guirado was able to push a goal from the near range sealing a guaranteed passage for the team on the semi-finals.
A November well ended for the team Azkals as they will advanced to the semis against a strong contender, bringing the competition for the first time in the Philippines.
