Kris Aquino files TPO against ex husband James Yap

TV host actress Kris Aquino filed Temporary Protection Order against ex-husband James Yap in a Makati city court. Report says that this is due to an alleged stepping on his boundaries and psychological harm on their son James or "Bimby".

Kris has also sought to court to order James to stay away from her residence, their child's school and other places where she and Bimby is frequent. 

Report said that this issue started during the visitation of James. It was reported that Kris accused James of seducing her and that when she refused James made "mean and malicious" statements and that Bimby saw the heated argument.

After the incident, Bimby was said to show signs of being highly "agitated and upset" whenever he is with his father or when he hears his voice on the phone.

On the other hand, James claimed that he was threatened by Kris with a statement "Alalahanin mo may tatlong taon pa ang brother ko", referring to President Benigno Aquino III. However, Kris' lawyer Frank Chavez, denied that Kris made that statement.

According also to reports that everything rooted when James refused to sign the consent for adoption. Since they were already annulled, Bimby becomes illegitimate. Kris wanted to Bimby to carry the name Aquino instead of Yap.

It was said that James' lawyer told him he will no longer have visitation rights to his child or no longer be Bimby's father once the consent is signed. 

It was reported that this became a reason why Kris no longer allow James to visit their child and triggered James to become emotional and hostile.
